By participating as a photographer, videographer, etc... in our event, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding media release: General Terms & Conditions 1. Be respectful of our neighbours and the rules of the neighbourhood in terms of speed, excessive noise, and any and all behaviours that would jeopardize the ability to hold future events. Illegal driving behaviours will not be tolerated. Any person or persons who are driving irresponsibly or performing any illegal behaviours that involves breaking the law will be reported to authorities. We reserve the right to forbid participation in our future events and reserve the rights to refuse entry or remove you and your property from our event. 2. VHO MOTORS is not responsible for any damages, loss or theft to your vehicle or other properties during our event. Participants and attendees are fully responsible to ensure that their insurance is adequate to cover any incidents that may occur. We are not responsible for any personal injury or death, however caused, except where our liability cannot be limited by the law. Media Release Terms & Conditions 1. Consent: By attending the event and capturing photographs, you grant permission for the event organizers and their authorized representatives to use, reproduce, and distribute the images for promotional and marketing purposes. This includes but is not limited to publications, websites, social media, press releases, and advertising materials. 2. Ownership: You acknowledge that all photographs taken by you during the event remain your property, and you retain the copyright to your work. However, you grant the event organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and publish the images as described in point 1. 3. Model Release: It is your responsibility to obtain necessary model releases or permissions from individuals or identifiable subjects in the photographs, granting permission for their likeness to be used in promotional materials as stated in point 1. You agree to indemnify the event organizers against any claims or liabilities arising from the use of such images. 4. Compensation: Participation as a photographer in the event is voluntary and unpaid. No financial compensation will be provided for the use of your photographs, as you retain the copyright to your work. 5. Non-Endorsement: The event organizers do not endorse any specific photographer or guarantee the inclusion or use of any particular photograph. The selection and use of photographs for promotional purposes are solely at the discretion of the event organizers. 6. Revocation of Consent: If you wish to revoke your consent for the use of your photographs after the event, you must notify the event organizers in writing. However, please note that this revocation will only apply to future use and does not nullify any prior use of your photographs. By participating as a photographer in our event, you indicate your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions regarding media release.
